## The visits are fewer, and shorter

The problem

When a reader nears the end of a piece, it serves the article most likely to keep that reader reading, as a full page inside your own templates and ad stack. No widget, no iframe, no traffic sent away. On enabled titles, multi-page sessions rose 46% over nine months while unchanged titles in the same network fell 16%.[1] The traffic did not grow. The visits got longer, and a longer visit is worth more on every line you measure.
